YAY! i finally got my naval pierced.

my weekend was considered short because baby had guard duty on saturday and only came back on sunday morning.

i was on half day study leave today because i had an exam from 2-4PM.
after my exam, i went to town to meet up with baby and sinkar for coffee.
initially, i wanted to queue up for donuts at the donut factory but the queue was about an hour's wait so i decided to pass.
more imitation donut shops imitating "the donut factory" are coming out or i should say, already out.
shops like "missy donut", "vinco donuts".
these cannot be compared to the original "the donut factory".
it was a weird thing to do, going out the day before my exam.
yes, i have another exam tomorrow and on thursday.
i'm totally not prepared for my marketing exam.
please wish me luck.

saturday was my company's annual dinner at fort canning.

the emcee was so hilarious, i laughed till my head and tummy hurt.

2 of my colleagues took their shirt off to compare who had the hairiest chest.

happy birthday singapore.
this year was the most boring national day for me because sadly, i spent it alone.
the fireworks display meant nothing.
it feels different watching it alone and with your loved one.
baby had to be at the national day parade slaving.
on the other hand, i'm happy because it marks the end of baby's saturday rehearsals.
i spent the whole day at home eating and sleeping.
i slept so much that i had a headache.
haha.
i went bowling with baby and sinkar-ina on monday night.
i looked damn kuku wearing the high white socks that connected with my black tights.
baby and sinkar couldn't stop laughing.
my pinky bowling ball keep ending up in the gutters.

i was stalked by "michael" with 20 over missed calls last night and he even had the audacity to call me again in the morning.
my phone rang at 3AM.
i answered the call half asleep thinking that it was a morning call from my baby.

he: "hello. why your voice so sexy?"
me: "excuse me?"

me: "mad." and i hung up the phone.

he called again and again and again for 20 over times.
but of course i didn't pick up.

10 days since i last blogged.

sorry guys.

let's see, what was i up to over the last 10 days.

my colleagues and i had a farewell dinner at NYDC for maran the fatty ding dong, eric my brother, honey(hani) and noooooorul(nurul).

i was so depressed when they left.

i practically had no mood to work because the sunshines were gone.

but there's one left -sheila the fruitcake.

i was not in the office for the whole of last week because i had wisdom tooth surgery which made my cheek swell and made me unable to eat.

i had porridge everyday -boring.

i should have lost some weight YAY!!!

i swear it felt like i was auditioning for saw 4.

i was given 5 jabs, i repeat 5 JABS.

my head was shaking side to side throughout the operation.

i could hear the metal instruments scraping my teeth, it was horrigible.

nearly fainted, nearly lost my mind when i was on the chair.

something that i wouldn't want to go through ever again.

yeah, and so i rotted at home for the whole of 5 days.

on saturday, i stayed at home in the morning.

cooked, washed my clothes and i'm so fucking pissed and devastated that my white pants are spoilt.

i went to zouk with baby, seli, pow, winkeng, caleb and azfar on saturday night and partied till 4AM.

much much better than MOS.

yesterday, baby and i hung out with sinkar and ann.

had my coffee at coffee bean which kept me awake till 230AM.

saturday.

i stayed at home the whole day.

cooked lunch and dinner, went grocery shopping with mommy, spring cleaned my room, washed my clothes and watched HBO.

at around 9PM, i went down to marina square to wait for baby to finish his NDP rehearsal.

i had tickets to the preview but thank god i didn't turn up.

baby said that it was a disappointment because there were no fireworks, some performers didn't turn up, some cocked up and one even fell off the stage.

i would be laughing my ass out rather than concentrating on the show. haha.

sorry that i haven't been updating.
well, a few reasons.
1. lazy to edit the millions of pictures i took over the weekend.
2. lazy to log into blogger.
3. too busy these few days with school and some ad-hoc stuff.

i'm back now.
let' see, what did i do over the weekends.
saturday, 16th of june was our 2nd year anniversary.
baby brought me out on a shopping spree(:
we had very little time because we had to rush back to get ready for his cousin's wedding at the shangri-la hotel.
it was the best way to celebrate our anniversary.
seeing the couple say their vows and speeches, makes me fall deeper in love with baby.
i teared when i saw the video and when they made their speeches.
it was magical.
the dinner was a eight course meal.
apparently, i still felt hungry after that because the time gap between each course was like almost half an hour.
baby and i had to cook maggi mee at 1AM. -yes i know, FATTENING.
haha.
baby, thank you for all the love you showered me these 2 years.
during these 2 years, you loved me with all your heart and i'm grateful for that.
apart from that, you put up with my temper, constant whinings and childish behaviour.
now, who does that.
only you, my darling.
my love, my best friend, my soulmate, my gossip partner, my shopping partner, my everything.
i love you.

and on sunday, the both of us just lazed around at home, watching prison break season 2 most of the time.
of course the usual eat-sleep-eat-sleep-and-get-fat that kind of thing.
i may be taking up a package with amore fitness.
i have been eating too much junk food and therefore neglecting my health and fitness.
if i do, it will most probably be yoga and kickboxing on alternate weeks.
it's relatively cheap because i'll be using my MDIS student card.

MY WEEKEND WAS MAGICAL.

busy weekend

saturday
i went suntanning with esteen in the afternoon and got myself sun burnt.
and yeah, i look like a lobster or roasted pig now.
bombard me with whatever names you guys have in mind, i don't mind.
that's the outcome of not applying sunblock.
we wanted to queue up for donuts at the donut factory but the queue was fucking long and the waiting time was 3 hours ++ to get our donuts and so, we decided to pass.
we figured that it was a waste of our time since we hardly get to hang out together, plus, we were exhausted after suntanning.
thanks, esteen and sinkar-ina for accompanying me till 11PM while i was waiting for baby to book out.

it was a hot day and showering thrice a day didn't help.
i felt that my house was a suana.
i needed some air conditioning and so, baby and i went to catch a movie.
one of the reasons was to cool ourselves down, away from the scorching heat outside and the other reason was because i wanted to watch shrek3.:)
the theatre was 80% filled with kids that i thought i wouldn't be able to watch in peace.
but fortunately, they were pretty quiet. HAHA.

i got myself some good buys over the weekend.

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR MAILINA.

yesterday night after my horrifying economics exam, i met up with my friends to celebrate mailina's 21st birthday.
inititally before the rest arrived, me, michelle and amanda walked around aimlessly around vivocity looking for a place to have dinner.
but sadly, we couldn't find any decent ones.
in the end, we settled for sakae sushi.

after dinner, we went to cafe del mar.
what can i say, the place is amazing.
women wearing bikini in the middle of the night, lap dancing on other guys.
we were seated in the VIP area because there were more than 20 of us.
we drank, played 5, 10, 15, 20(you guys must be wondering what that is but i'm very bad at explanation so i shall leave that to you to find out.)
michelle and i were pretty much the crazy ones who were screaming and laughing on top of our voices.
and how could i have forgotten my undetachable, ruth leong mei huei.(she will flip when she sees this.)
she was going insane mixing carlsberg with volka and raspberry.
i saw friends whom i haven't seen in years.:)
it was an unforgettable night.

baby's murtabak was so huge that i got scared just by looking at it.
he wanted to finish it but i had to stop him from gorging himself.
we played CS twice at two different places on friday night.
spent a total of $9 per person on CS.

i'm so addicted now.
so addicted that i spend my time playing CS at home instead of doing something more productive.

and yesterday, baby and i met with seli and pow.

i met up with esteen and elin last saturday night before clubbing.

it was nice seeing them after almost 5 months.

we had billy bombers for dinner where i couldn't finish my enormous spring chicken.

my tummy almost exploded after eating the chicken soup, over-sized spring chicken, iced lemon tea and a scoop of ben&jerry's cookies&cream ice cream.

i could easily have gained 5 KG after the meal and so i need to go on a diet.

oh right, no more diets, i need to eat more as ordered by my baby.

economics class today.

i'm dreading to get back my test results because i have a hunch that i did real badly.

i don't want to have to re-module.

my boss is back from milwaukee.:)

he touched down at 5AM this morning and came to work at 10AM.

i was like why didn't you take a day off to rest at home?

but i understand why, he has tons of emails to clear and documents awaiting his signature.

i sent him an email a few days ago asking him not to forget to bring us back some souvenirs as a joke.

and this morning he passed me a shirt with the word HOLLYWOOD.

me, baby, BFF, pow, caleb and azfar went to MOS on saturday night.
it was so packed that i lost count the number of times people stepped on my pumps.
i could hardly stand properly but still, i danced to my heart's content.

TOO FAST TOO FURIOUS

we went to play CS with the usuals yesterday night and i have to say that it was one of the best CS sessions i had.

the game got me all worked up and excited but still, my skills were not as good as the pro, winkeng.

i totally got thrashed by him and the others as well.

it was a like 50 kills to 1 kill kind of thing.

i was cursing and swearing like nobody's business -the feeling of getting shot before you can even pick up a weapon.

i really had fun.:)

HAHAHAHAHA.

the battle had me hungry and craving for macdonalds, which i did at 2 in the morning.

stephanie the pig had me over at her house yesterday night to nua. -as she calls it.
i bought her dinner and watched the mummy returns like for the 10000th time in my life.
unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures because she was wearing her jay chou tshirt which she thought was ugly.
i am kind of motivated to do well for my exams now because my colleague whom i refer to as "brother" in the office promised to buy me a good meal if i pass.
well, i call him my "brother" because we are both hainanese.
both of us are the only hainanese in the office so that explains the brother and sister hood.
actually, everyone treats me as their xiao mei mei in the office because i'm the youngest.
i feel kind of pampered being treated like a princess in the office.
none of them bullies me, not like they dare tho.
wait a minute, there's this particular guy.
remember maran, the fatty ding dong?
he's the only one who disturbs me every single day in the office but recently, we decided to make peace.
peace as in we show each other the peace sign whenever we pass by each other and avoid calling names.

i had oreo cereal with milk for breakfast today and it was so yummy.
my colleagues have been commenting that i look pale today.
well, i look pale everyday because i'm too lazy to put on make up.
i dont have enough time!
i should be lucky enough to have time to comb and blow dry my hair.
if you guys have any idea of me waking up earlier, you should seriously slap yourself in the face.
getting up at 730AM in the morning, EVERY MORNING is already a hassle.
any earlier and i will most prolly faint in the train.
i'm sad to say that only now, i realise the importance of education.
every other person in singapore would have a diploma.
even a degree seems common now.
singaporeans constantly have to upgrade themselves, especially those in the IT industry.
i tell myself that i'm still young, i have to study, get a degree.
yes, i'm working towards a degree right now.
i don't want to be earning $2000 my whole life.
i want to earn big bucks, i want a decent life next time.
i want a car, a house, a grand wedding.
being able to shop whenever i want to.
not saving up like for 3 months to get a gucci bag.
one is never too old to study.
my colleague, she's 35 this year but still doing her degree and even planning to do her masters.
another one of my colleague, 30 would be doing his masters now if not for commitments.
studying is a good thing but he can't just shove aside his responsibilities.
he has a wife and kid to support, house, car loans.
it's really not easy but still, i want to attain the highest level of education possible.
for myself, for baby, for my future.
working my ass off even if i have to, beacuse i don't want to get looked down upon.
because i want to prove myself, prove myself to others that i am not worthless.

friday night
the ten of us went to katong to play CS after slacking at central.
just in case you were wondering who was the ten -me, baby, seli, pow, ray, winkeng, thomas, caleb, azfar and his cousin.
and we went for a movie, smoking aces at 2AM.
i fell asleep for about 15 mins halfway thru because the theatre was freezing.
HEHE!

saturday
baby and i got up at around 12PM and slacked all the way till 5PM before we went to aloha loyang for baby's nephew's one year old birthday party.
we didn't really eat much because we had another birthday dinner to attend after that.
but i couldn't resist the pasta and curry.
another one of baby's cousin will be getting married in june and i'm invited.
how exciting!

sunday
we went to city hall for some food and shopping.
baby gave me a treat at new york new york, you should have seen how big our seafood platter was.
they had fish fillets, salmon, calamari and COLD CRAB.
i just realised i have to shop more.
i'm running out of clothes:)

the weekends are too short.
i want more time with my baby.
i want more time to laze at home.
i want more time to shop.

baby took off today as it is our anniversary.
he got up earlier than me today just to prepare breakfast for me.
so sweet right?
i had the sweetest cheese fish ever, today.

baby bought himself a new fighting fish.
he got so fascinated about fighting fishes when he saw them at the pet safari the other day and started researching more about them on the net.
initially, we were thinking of getting a guinea pig or hamster but figured that no one will take care of them when we are not around during the weekdays.
not that there is no one to take care of it, but it wouldn't be very nice if we asked his parents who are already busy enough taking care of the dog to look after them.
after all, it will be our pet, our responsibility.
it's freaking hot in the office today because the air con broke down.
the contractors are taking their own sweet time to come and i am on the verge of a heatstroke.
i'm popping ice every few minutes to cool myself down.
my colleagues, especially the men are perspiring like mad.
they can't work properly without air conditioning.

yesterday, i queued up for 2 hours at the infamous donut factory at raffles city to get 24 pieces of donuts for my beloved boyfriend and dearest BFF. it was all worth it because the donuts were FANTASTIC. the 12 pieces i got for baby are already in his stomach. i wouldn't mind queuing up for another 2 hours to get more donuts. i know, it's crazy but since people are so crazy, i wanna be crazy too. but i know that this big hoo-ha will die off soon just like roti boy did. so before it really dies off, i'm gonna KILL FOR DONUTS. and late last night, the whole group of us went to play CS. ray drove "his" mitsubishi manual car which got us gripping on tight to our seats, hair messed up and motion sickness. ray, i still prefer your volvo. after having macdonalds at 230AM, we refused to go back home so we went to seletar dam to chill. only the 5 of us -me, baby, seli, pow and ray. winkeng, azfar and caleb decided to head home. i think we got home at almost 5AM. was too tired by then to notice what time it was.

my office building is under major renovations.
the smell of paint and concrete now fills the air of the lift lobbies.
the smell was so over bearing that i got a headache yesterday.
the floor was so dirty that it stained my heels.

today's only wednesday and i got economics class later, the most boring subject ever.

WEEKEND BECKONS

i ate so much yesterday that i swore to go on a diet.
spaghetti, subway sandwiches, steak.
can you imagine how many kilograms i put on?
like 10 KG, maybe.
and subway is my new craving for the moment.
i had it yesterday and i'm gonna have it next week again.
we went to suntec and it was flooded with people going to the IT fair.
and everyone was pushing and rushing that i nearly got knocked down by a van.
the fucking van just couldn't wait for me to cross the road.
anyways, me and baby got ourselves a new OTO massager((:
baby says its a waste of money to get a new tent when we already have a perfectly good one.
whines, but i want a bigger one!
LOL.
i had fun on our date.
and today, we are just gonna stay at home to play maplestory.
