first day.
i did most of the visiting on the first day as they weren't that much places to go.
we went over to my grandma's side first and while waiting for the rest of my relatives to arrive, i gorged myself with pineapple tarts, cashew nuts and whatever goodies i could get my hands on.
so, that explains the ulcers in my mouth.
i used to look forward to CNY but as i grow older, it isn't that anticipating anymore.
i don't know if it is just me, but its weird going over to visit your relatives whom you see only once a year just to collect red packets.
and get snobbed at, by them.
you should see how they stare at you from top to toe, giving you that fake smile and exclaiming how happy they are to see you.
i shall prove to them my worth, one day.
but i was glad to see my cousins. (sorry but i didn't get a chance to take any pictures with them. perhaps some other time((:)
after that, i went over to baby's side.
baby is an uncle now. WAHAHAHAHA.
and they got his nephew to call me "aunty".
his nephew is so adorable, with the chubby cheeks, legs and arms.
i wanted to hold him and never let him go but he's 10 KG, freaking heavy for a 10 month old baby.
imagine carrying a 10KG bag of rice for 10mins.
my arm went numb after that.
and no, i didn't gamble this year although i kept pestering baby to teach me how to play mahjong((:
well, that's about all for the first day.

second day.
me and baby slacked at home till the afternoon before we made our way to sinkar-ina's house.
played some poker, watched dvds and snacked on macdonalds.
and you guys better teach me the cigg trick okay!

that was how i spent my chinese new year.
